In a quiet cul-de-sac embraced by the hills, Villa Millennium is hidden in the heart of Balatonalmádi, 600 meters from Lake Balaton.
The history of the building dates back to the millennium: from the 1910s, known as Aunt Gizus’s Summer House, it was open for visitors wishing to relax, then from 1930 the Joó family provided accommodation of high-quality for guests. After World War II, it operated as a company-owned holiday home and a boarding hotel. The red stone, lacy sawn wood porches, thick walls and its several small details truly recall the spirit of one-time Balaton summers, the love of sunshine, the light-hearted joy of sports and swimming.
Following careful design and reconstruction, the nine luxurious rooms and the interior of Villa Millennium attained their current form. Due to their different sizes, the air-conditioned rooms of our four-star hotel are equally ideal for couples and families.
The furniture, the cheerful colours, the style and staff of the Villa all are there to guarantee your comfort. In the shade of pine trees on the panoramic terrace, you can enjoy exquisite flavoured wines from Misi Figula’s winery or the freshness of our coffee specialties. There are sporting opportunities all over the place, so if you prefer active holidays, we can offer you bikes for tours and SUP boards for roaming the lake free of charge.
András, a friend of ours has been welcoming guests with a wide smile since the hotel was opened in 2015. Our philosophy is a simple one: we make sure that breakfast is always especially fresh, the stangli, a salty bread roll from the local bakery, has almost become a legend; cleanliness, fun and attention are all equally very important to us.
Since 2019, when solar panels were installed in the hotel, we have been open in every season throughout the year. The hotel offers an excellent venue for smaller team building trainings and it is also a great place to get together with friends.
